ALESTORM Unleashes The Thunderfist Chronicles – Out June 20, 2025!Grab your cutlasses and pour yourself a tankard of rum—ALESTORM is setting sail once again! The Scottish pirate metal icons have officially announced their eighth studio album, The Thunderfist Chronicles, arriving on June 20, 2025, via Napalm Records. Following the massive success of Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum and last year’s Voyage of the Dead Marauder EP, the band returns with eight brand-new anthems that will shake the high seas of metal.Frontman Christopher Bowes describes the album as „weird and full of difficult riffs that I already regret,” but assures fans there’s plenty to look forward to.

The album features a cover of a song by Nekrogoblikon, a range of heavy-hitting tracks, and the longest song in ALESTORM’s history—a 17-minute epic with guest vocals from Patty Gurdy (hurdy-gurdy virtuoso) and Russell Allen (Symphony X).
